The inaugural Linda Ross-Harrington Foundation Scholarship of 2015 was awarded to Miss Victoria Jackson, a senior at Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, New York.

Victoria exemplifies a student with a love for foreign languages and education. So much so that while working and balancing her studies throughout High School, Victoria also took it upon herself to learn Korean as well as enroll in Mandarin classes at Stony Brook University.

Victoria is currently on the Dean's List at Suffolk County Community College and plans to transfer to Stony Brook University in the coming year.  Her long terms goals after college are to travel abroad and work as an ESL teacher or work in the translation sector of business.

We wish her only the best and are so very proud and honored to have her as our first scholarship recipient.
